Why are there 2 separate shopping carts for stationery items & handmade items?

I apologize for any confusion this may cause.

When building the web pages for my handmade items (Bummlies, Sweater Vests, Barkclava Hats, FUNdanas, and Add-On Badges), it was necessary to create a different yet equally secure checkout system than the shopping cart used for my stationery items (address labels, signed prints, books, note cards & gift wrap).

I did this to ensure that inventory numbers for the handmade items are kept up-to-date & accurate while allowing the flexibility that you have always enjoyed when choosing images for my stationery items.

Please rest assured that when purchasing stationery & handmade items at the same time through the 2 separate cart systems, that all items will be combined in as few packages as possible & that all extra shipping charges will be refunded to you when I process your orders.

Do you combine shipping?

Are you interested in sending multiples of the same item or a combination of different products to one address?

I am happy to combine shipping when possible.

The secure shopping cart calculates shipping charges by the approximate weight of your order.  It is very accurate for most orders.  However, in some cases, the actual weight or the use of flat rate packaging can lower the shipping charge.

Our Promise to You:
 
You will never be charged more for shipping than what the shopping cart calculates.  After packaging your order, if the actual shipping charge is lower than the shopping cart's original calculation, a reduced shipping cost will be charged.  An email will also be sent to you, notifying you of the lowered rate.
Shipping and Store Policies

How long does it take to get my order?

All of my items are handmade by me and ship within these guidelines:

All books that are described as being shipped directly from the publisher, are ordered for you within 24 hours of receipt of payment. 
However, please allow for the time stated on the specific product page (generally 2 to 3 weeks) for production and delivery time.
 
Most Bummlie orders ship within 1-2 business days.

FUNdanas ship within 1 business day.

In Stock - Ready-Made Sweater Vests & Woofie Warmers ship within 1 business day.

Custom Sweater Vests, Barkclava Hats, Woofie Warmers and Add-on Badges ship within 2-3 weeks after receiving your order.

** After receiving your Custom order, I will promptly send you an email confirming the size and colors you chose for the Body / Bobbles / Collar of your Sweater Vest, Woofie Warmer or Barkclava Hats.

All orders are shipped in the order they are received.
When your custom order is complete, I will send you a final email with the tracking number to let you know it is done & on the way!

Do you do commission work?  

I do not do commissioned portraits.  However, I am always happy to take suggestions.  Feel free to email me a picture of your pet.  I cannot promise I will paint him, but I will contact you if the breed becomes a Dog Pal. 

Do you sell the original paintings?  

I do not sell my original paintings, but I appreciate the question and the interest in my artwork.

Can you inscribe my book?

I am happy to inscribe your copy of Emmitt & Olive.  It ships from my location, so I am happy to sign it. All of my other books are dropped shipped to you directly from the publisher, so I cannot sign them.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes!  I do sell my gift wrap by the case of 36 rolls at wholesale to businesses with a valid Sales Tax Id.  Please email for details.

This is a gift, will you enclose a card?

Yes!  I am happy to enclose a gift card.  Please just let me know what you would like it to say.
